This is the second year of the mission-shaped ministry course running in the Colchester area.
It is offered through a partnership between the Colchester Pioneer Hub, St John’s, Colchester, Chelmsford Diocese, and Plume Avenue URC.
Those who will be teaching on the course include: David Beales, Bob and Mary Hopkins, Bishop Roger Morris, David and Janie Beales, Ian Hilton, Wendy Pagden, Graeme Ross, and Geoff Felton.

Wednesdays gather at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm-9.30pm session.
Saturdays gather at 9.15 for a 9.30am-3.30pm session.

Having been involved three times in the MSM Course, I believe that it gives an excellent grounding for anyone exploring or engaging in Pioneer Mission. The time is right for the pioneers and explorers of Colchester to get fired up, equipped, networked and moving. Jesus said, “Go!”…… Here’s a practical process to get you going and resource you while you go.

The world we live in is rapidly changing. The church has a great message to speak to a world that flounders with questions, doubts and fear. I believe MSM will encourage the church to begin by listening to our communities and then equip pioneers and those with a heart for seeing church move beyond its walls to reach into new communities with the message of hope, life and love as found in the person of Jesus Christ.
